One of the things I like to buy this time of year, when all the sales are going on, is beauty and perfume gift sets
for gifts for the following year. The items won’t go bad, the packaging is attractive most of the time (if not I can always repackage in a prettier gift bag or box), and the price is right.
I scored a couple of really nice sets of perfume and cologne for my father-in-law and mother-in-law yesterday for $5 each, and they would have been $20 or more at Walmart before Christmas. I just bought their Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gifts! Score for me. Recently I also purchased a couple of nice Old Spice kits including large bottles of body wash, cologne, deodorant and other stuff for $4.50. One will be for my Paw Paw for his upcoming birthday and the other will make a great present for my brother-in-law when his birthday rolls around if I don’t use it before that for something else. That’s just my in-store purchases so far. I’m proud to say I’ve spent way less than $50, which was Christmas money from various family members, for about $250 worth of gifts for this upcoming year. I’m thrilled. You will notice I didn’t mention my parents or brother. I doubt Ty ever pops up but I think Mom and Dad do….Love you all!
Amazon has a huge sale on beauty, bath and fragrance items going on, and it features a lot of Sephora gifts at 75% off! I wasn’t aware that Amazon sold Sephora, honestly. New markdowns have taken place, so if you’re a “designer” cologne or cosmetic wearer this is the time for you to stock up. You’ll notice that the items from Sephora do not ship free with your Prime membership or with a $25 purchase since they don’t come directly from Amazon but they do have free shipping with a $50 purchase. Take a look around at the Sephora markdown items, or all the others, to save up to 75% off retail!

The Body Shop has more great beauty markdowns and specials including free shipping on orders over $25, 3/$10 make up, and clearance of up to 50% off! My favorite category is For the Home, because I love home fragrance oils and diffusers! Check those out, they’re priced pretty reasonably for the brand. I’ve found that some of the brands like Body Shop last longer than the cheaper ones, so in the long run they’re well worth the money. I like for my home to smell like my mom’s because it reminds me of my childhood. Her house always smells like cinnamon and Christmas trees all winter, and fresh and clean the rest of the year. I love it!
Beauty Encounter sells wonderful fragrances for men and women, and have several items for both at 50% off or more! The fragrance that my brother used to wear used to cost me about $70 for a medium sized bottle. Now, I can get that same size for around $45! Of course he doesn’t wear it any more but if you are interested the brand was Acqua Di Gio By Giorgio Armani For Men .
It smells good, it really does.
