I have received 2 of these in the past and I was grateful for them but wasn’t quite sure how they worked; I was an extgrmely new blogger so I’ll dig them up and post them soon so I can thank my presenters. Thank you Carie, and thank you to anyone who has ever sent me an award because I anm honored that any of you would think of me. I take nothing and no one for granted, so even if I did not post the award does not mean they were not treasured. So thank you to anyone who has ever given me anything

So I have to think of 7 interesting things about myself. Well, here goes.
- I am the most boring person I know!
- I own 6 copies of Dirty Dancing: 5 on DVD and 1 VHS, two unopened.
- Law and Order has been my favorite show since I was 11.
- I met my husband online through chatting on Yahoo out of the blue. Best thing that has ever happened to me.
- I could live off of my Maw Maw’s chicken and dumplings and Rice Krispie treats.
- I refuse to pay for toothpaste other than tax because of coupons.
- I was born with Spina Bifida and have been a paraplegic since birth.
Did I mention I was boring? I have no hidden talents or anything or if I do they’re so hidden that I can’t find ‘em. I like my happy/stressfuf/blessed life in my little house with my husband and little dogs right beside my Mama and Daddy. I wouldn’t change the fundamentals at all. I would add in a little more income for obvious reasons but other than that, I’m right where I should be. Isn’t it a good feeling to be right where you feel God wants you to be? Most days I have this humongous feeling of contentment, knowing that no matter what happensI have so many blessings. This “silly little award”, as I’m sure some think of them, made me sit and think about all of my blessings. Thank you for that, Carie, because this week has not been a week of blessings. It’s been a week of disappointments and depression; taking this time to focus on blessings was a wonderful break from that.

So I’m off to go give away some awards, take my daily “nap” so I can get up with a (semi!) clear head and share more deals. I promise I’m going to get things back to normal around here one way or another. My Dr. appointment didn’t go as well as I had hoped so the pain is still mostly excrutiating most days but if I can function on the way they have me living right now and it alleviates pain then maybe I will be a bit better next week. It was a wonderful thing to get the award from Carie. My husband is in a great deal of pain most of the time due to ruptured disks in his neck and back. I wish he’d start a useful blog like yours rather than laying in bed watching TV. He must be so bored. Keep up the great blog.
