Finally a savings that my husband will appreciate…not that he doesn’t appreciate and give me my kudos every time I save us money!  :) He’s good like that.

Get a free after rebate can of Wheel Protectant from Armor All!  All you have to in order to get your mail in this form is:

  •  Purchase ANY Armor All product ($3.49 minimum value) AND
  • Purchase new Armor All Wheel Protectant (max value $8.99)
  • Mail in this rebate form along with all other required materials
  • Expiration 12/31/10

Tips:

  1. Make SURE you make copies of all submitted materials in case something goes wrong.
  2. Follow every instruction and make sure you dot your i’s and cross your t’s because they can deny your rebate if you do not.  When they ask, and they do with this rebate, for a UPC for each product you HAVE to send it.
  3. Keep in mind that a rebate can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months to process in reality.  When you spend the money from your budget consider it spent, and then whenever you get it back then you can consider it earnings (that’s just a tip and how I do mine).  If you don’t have the extra money for the item in your budget, don’t spend it if the item isn’t a necessity because you won’t get your cash back any time soon in most cases.  Again, I’m just telling you this as someone who’s been doing rebates for years as well as someone who’s worked in customer relations with people who have expected rebates within the 4-6 weeks they were assured they’d get their rebates.   It doesn’t always happen!  Honestly, rarely does it happen.
  4. Put proper postage on your envelope.  If you’re unsure, take it to the post office and ask.  The rebate center will not pay your postage.  Likewise, if they ask for a self-addressed stamped envelope, make sure you put one in there and make sure it’s enough.

Rebates aren’t something I’m good at remembering to do.  If all I have to submit is the rebate form and the receipt, then I’m usually OK but if I have to remember to keep the UPC from the package then I typically don’t bother unless it’s a significant rebate or a money-maker.  In reality, I don’t consider rebates money-makers because I have to spend my money and then wait until I’ve almost forgotten about it to get my rebate back, but I’m sure if I didn’t have adult ADD I might have an easier time with them and be more successful.  Some people swear by rebates, and others are like me.  Where do you fall?  Do this rebate for your sweetie, and watch your car shine and be the envy of the neighborhood!

Caress Mousse Souffle Guarantee

When I buy a new product, even with a coupon, if it isn’t free I want some kind of reassurance that I can get my money back if it doesn’t work for me.   Nobody needs to waste money but I just can’t, so I do all the research I can to find product guarantees and stores’ return policies.  When you create your organization system, it’s a great thing to keep a section of a binder or your file box just for copies of return policies or print outs of rebates or guarantees you think you may need.  Just take heed of the expiration dates and the return policy dates.

Anyway, Caress offers a money-back guarantee for their Mousse Souffle, and since I know we all love body and bath products I wanted to pointit out.  You never know when it’ll be a drugstore cheapie, and if you don’t like it you’ll want to make sure you are covered.

Please keep in mind that this is NOT a try-me-free offer; this is genuinely only to be used if you don’t like the product for a true reason, not just “I don’t like the color of the container” or something trivial that does not mnatter.  Companies lose money when people do things like that, which means prices are increased and great money-back offers are taken away from those of us who are genuinely following the rules.

Rolling off my soap box now. Sorry….

So here goes.  This one will require you to return your  bottle so you can’t actually use it all and then fill out the form for the most part.

If you buy Caress Mousse Souffle and aren’t completely satisfied with the alluring fragrance and tantalizing softness then return your bottle and they will reimburse you for your purchase price minus taxes.

Print out the form you can find by pressing the button found on the guarantee page.

Return the unused portion of Caress Whipped Soufflet 15 oz. White Peach cream or Blackberry Cream body wash along with your original register receipt.  Make sure you circle the purchase price and mail your package to the address on this page.

I believe you’re responsible for paying the shipping on this offer, so obviously it’s not a good idea in my opinion.  Call or e-mail customer service to be sure, please, and if you do let me know.  I’d rather try to return it to the store if I had a legitimate reason for returning the product (i.e. an allergic reaction to it), or call customer service to complain and maybe get some coupons for future purchases and consider this a learning experience.  Weigh your options when you consider returning anything small. It makes no cents at all to spend money to return a product when shipping will likely cost more than my refund!

At first I was inclined to believe that you could do more than one offer but upon further reading (always, always read fine print on these offers because they’ll get you otherwise!) there is a LIMIT OF 1 per household unless you live in RHODE ISLAND where the LIMIT OF ONE PER INDIVIDUAL will be imposed.  Yes, I did all caps because I tend to skip over things  unless they are “yelled” at me when I am reading “fine print”.

I hope this isn’t someting you’re tired of reading or have seen everywhere.  I want to thank The Coupon Barn for this offer!

I love rebates on meat because savings on meat purchases are so hard toc ome by.  Like most people, that’s one area of our grocery budget that remains higher than I would like for it to be.  Even though we eat vegetarian a lot, and buy chicken and cheap cuts, I just can’t bring myself to buy fattier ground beef and fattier cuts of meat to save a little cash.  We save in any other areas we can but I really like ground turkey burgers instead of regular hamburgers so that’s what we buy.  We just don’t have htem as often!  It all works out thanks to offers like this!  Hurry and get in on that first 25,000!

VERY IMPORTANT: READ EACH REBATE TO MAKE SURE IT IS VALID IN YOUR STATE!

Whether you’re football fans in your home or not, and thankfully my husband’s football watching ends with the last college football bowl, you can get an awesome rebate when you buy specific Pepsi products!!  Combine the rebates with store sales and coupons and you’ve got some sweeeeeeeeeet deals!

Some of these rebates do require alcohol purchases and are only good in certain states; however some do not, and are good in thsoe other areas.  No alcohol required rebates are a great way to expand your budget.

First you need to access this rebate form.  I’ll describe the gist of each rebate but it is up to you to read and follow the directions on it as well as meet the dates required for submission.

As best I can tell, your purchase for each rebate can be on separate receipts so go with the best sales you can!

Rebate #1: Save $15 Alcohol Purcahse Req.

Required Purchases:  18-pack or larger Coors Light or Coors Banquet beer 12 fl. oz. bottles or cans and $30 worth of Tostitos chip and/or dips, Pepsi carbonated soft drinks, condiments, platic cups, ice, paper plates, deli items (any brand, any size)

Ends 2/8/10

Rebate #2: Save $10 No Alcohol Required

Required Purchases:  $30 worth of Tostitos Chips & Dips, Pepsi carbonated beverages,  c0ndiments, plastic cups, ice, and/or deli items (any brand/size)

Valid through 2/8/10

Rebate #3 Save $10 Requires Alcohol

Required Purchases:  12-pack or larger Coors Light or Coors Banquet Beer, 12 fl oz. cans or bottles AND $20 worth of Tostitos Chips & dips, Pepsi Carbonated Drinks, Condiments, Plastic Cups, Ice, paper plates, deli items (any brand/size)

Ends 2/8/10w

Rebate #4 Save $7.50 No Alcohol Required

Required Purchases: $20 worth of Tostitos chips and dips, Pepsi carbonated soft drinks, condiments, plastic cups, ice, paper plates and/oro deli items (any brand/size)

Ends 2/8/10

Don’t forge that you will need the rebate form.  I did not include all of the states included with each rebate; please refer to the form when determining if each ad is valid in your area.  Not surprisingly, the rebates that require the purchase of alcohol aren’t valid in AL.

You should be able to purchase most of the required elements of the rebates inexpensively with coupons.  You may use multiple recipts per rebate but you MUST submit the receipt(s) along with your rebate form.

I will be happy to answer any questions, or find the answers, if you leave comments below.  If you’ve done the rebate and gotten a great deal, please let us know!

Home Depot Keep

This weekend, from January 14-18, Home Depot has a rebate on several brands of paint that sounds pretty good.  Use the rebate form to get back $5 off the one-gallon cans and $20 off 5 gallon pails.  The brands included are Behr, Glidden, Ralph Lauren and Freshaire Choice.  Some exclusions do apply, see the form for all of the details.  It doesn’t give a limit of how many gallons you can purchase.  Rebate takes 6-8 weeks.

To check the status of your rebate, call 1-866-451-1357.  You may also check the status of your rebate online at Home Depot Rebates.

Beauty for All Ages Rebate

johnsonrebate

Thanks to My Frugal Adventures for the picture and more detailed info! I had the hardest time finding out anything about this rebate tonight.

Did you notice on Coupons.com that there’s a great rebate available from Johnson & Johnson?  It’s called the Beauty for All Ages rebate, and it’s a $10 rebate when you buy $30 in select products.  Boy was this rebate info hard to find.  I used Swagbucks until my fingers were numb!

Anyway, go ahead and print that “coupon” on Coupons.com because you will most likely get a FABuLESS deal with it, and it may not be available long.  Rebates aren’t usually my thing but if I can score $30 of free items, or make money on it, I’ll get my rear in gear and be a little more organized and do the rebate.

The rebate is valid from 1/10/2010 through 2/5/2010, and you get $10 back when you spend $30 on 2 or more of these items: Roc, Ambi, Aveeno, Clean and Clear, Purpose, or Lubriderm.

I have just bought some ink for my printer, having contemplated and decided not to purchase a new printer at this time, so I haven’t yet seen the “rebate form” to find out if all items must be on one receipt.  Hopefully more information will be available soon.  Couple this rebate with a drugstore sale and you’ve got yourself some sweet deals.  I’m thinking Register Rewards or Extra Care Bucks are in my future once again.

Would you believe that I do not have a single register reward or extra care buck to my name?  I bought my little brother some eye drops awhile back at Walgreens since they were expiring (and I just wasn’t in the mood to shop).  Those eye drops are normally quite expensive, but were on sale at Walgreens.com and the nice manager at the local Walgreens here matched the online price.  I just haven’t shopped at CVS in months.  The ones near me are very anti-coupon and tend to follow you around if you have a lot of coupons in your hand or a lot of items in your cart.  I have nothing to hide but I like my space, and there’s this one guy that just getsthisclose and I can’t stand it :)

I’ll let you know if I see any great items to go with this rebate.  I cannot believe it’s Friday, or January 1, 2010..or a week after Christmas.  I don’t know where time goes for me but I need another 5-10 hours in a day! Don’t you?

batteries

Have you remembered the batteries for Christmas this year?  If you’re thinking “Uh oh”, I’ve got a little relief for you.  You can go to Staples and become a Staples Rewards Member, or you can sign up here, and you can get a 20-pack of Duracell batteries free after your Staples Rewards rebate!  You can get up to 2 packs per household, and your rebate will be received in January.

I will definitely do this kind of rebate for an item that we regularly use in my home, and I always try (if the cash is in the budget) to max out on the offers so that we’re stockpiled.  I easily pass up on rebates for offers on items we don’t have a regular need for like new food items if I can’t let go of the cash.  Keep in mind when doing rebates that the money won’t be back in your budget sometimes for up to 3 months when deciding whether to take advantage of a rebate.  You are basically spending the money, it’s not free, you’re just getting reimbursed.  That’s just my way of looking at it, not everyone’s, but when you’re not one who has a lot of extra money it’s a good way to look at things.

Thanks, Coupon Cravings!

Walmart: Merry Madagascar for $1.50

merrymadagascar

Walmart will have Merry Madagascar starting 12/19 (tomorrow) for $4.  This is such a cute little show. It aired on network TV a couple of weeks ago, and being the kid at heart I am of course I watched it.

Purchase Merry Madagascar and any Kraft product at Walmart, and submit this form along with your receipt (must be purchasaed on the same transaction) to receive a rebate for $2.50.  If it helps, here’s a list of most of the products that are Kraft.  This is just in case you’re buying something you’re unaware is manufactured by Kraft but most of us buy their brand of something.  Personally, I dislike most other cheese.  That’s one of my very few items on my list of things I won’t compromise when it comes to getting the best deal.  Of course I look for the best deal and stockpile but that’s the brand I use. Anyway again I digress.

Don’t forget that if you purchase items for any other rebate that you put them on a separate transaction so you can send in both receipts.  I can’t tell you how many times I”ve done that wrong and had to do it over…adn the cashier was none too friendly!
