OK, $300 is a LOT more than the deals I normally talk about.  I’m more into freebies or quality items under, like $5!  But I also know that kids love video games, and Christmas is a mere 6 months away (yeah, it’s a long-ish time awah).  So when I saw this deal from Walmart.com to get a HUGE Nintendo Wii bundle for just $279-$299, I could not resist telling you.

The Nintendo Wii now comes in black as of a couple of weeks ago (I think?!)amd white.  amd the price for both is $199 pretty much wherever you go, unless a store is having a promotion (i.e. normally a gift card w/ purchase). 

That’s just a little bit of price background for those of you who haven’t entered the world of video games yet with your kids (or um, husband in my case).  I love a good game of Mario Kart or Super Mario Brothers so I can’t say a word.  Anyway, I’ve probably just blabbed a bunch of stuff you already knew or did not care about.  What you just might care about, and should if you plan on buying a Wii this Christmas or year at all, is this deal from Walmart!

Walmart.com has a Wii Family Fun Bundle that includes:

• Core Nintendo Wii system and Wii Sports Resort- Choose Black or White game system
• Dreamgear 3-in-1 Player’s Sport Kit
• Choose your nunchuck: Nyko Wired Kama, Nintendo Nunchuck Controller (Wii) black or white.
• Choose your remote. This is where extra expense could be added. You’re fine with the plain, basic remote: Choose from many different colors for no additional cost, or choose Wii Play that comes with bonus remote,  Black Wii Remote Motion Plus Bundle, the Blue or Pink Wireless Remote and Wii MotionPlus Bundle.
• Choose 2 games.  With over 20 choices including games that come with extras, and new(ish) games including the New Super Mario Brothers.  These are not your typical childish games I alwsys
• Add your charging station.  Remember to invest in some qiality rechargible batteries.

This is not a paid post nor am I a Walmart affiliate.  I just think that this entire package is a good price.  Just add it all up, while remembering that the Wii itself is $200.  Controllers are $40/$20 depending on the roller’nunchuck choice, and the choice oof games you’re given are $20 or more.

The Wii is a totally interactive system, and I have to admit that it’s a great gift for an entire family.  If I didn’t have my lack of mobility I’d get a lot moreuse out of ours, but there is still a lot of things I can do on mine that provide me with ample exercise.  If your family can’t take a summer vacation, you should consider this if the cash is in the budget for the wholoe family.  Nobody will bmiss the beach!

All through my life, I’ve tried hard to get the most out of the money I spend.  Of course, when I was younger I was often focused on quantity versus quality.  I thought getting 10 items for $5 at Claire’s was just the best deal ever.  Thankfully I still try to get the most for my money but I focus on quality as much as I can, whenver I can.  When I saw this deal from Walmart.com, I had to share!

When you pre-order certain video games from Walmart.com, you’ll get a bonus gift card free!  Unless otherwise mentioned the gift card is for use online-only.  You will likely be e-mailed the gift card(s).

My husband and I took a late night trip to Walmart last night just to get out for a  bit; we live in an area where that’s the only place open after 8 PM, and we needed a few things so we figured we might as well get them while Walmart was uncrowded.  Unfortunately they’re remodeling our local store so it was still a mess but more manageable than a typical day. Anyway, we came upon a couple of Glade deals I wanted to point out!

To be honest, I haven’t ever paid attention to how long things stay on roll back at Walmart, which is just pitiful since I used to WORK there. This translates into me not knowing when these deals end but hopefully we’ll all have time to get to the store to get a few of these before the sales end.

I have also seen a lot of peelies on these products at various places so you will probably find a few peelies on them at Walmart if you look hard enough.  $2 isn’t free but it’s the cheapest price I’ve seen in a long time, especially if you didn’t get in on the super cheap refills a few weeks ago at Publix and Walgreens (I didn’t).    I’m going to have to stock up on a few of these if i have the coupons.

Does anyone know of any more great rollbacks at Walmart?  Our store had TONS of clearance products because they were jjust trying to get rid of odds and ends that they were discontinuing or trying to move off their shelves for the remodel, so if your store is being remodeled be sure to find the clearance aisles.  It’ll be worth the extra time to search.

Walmart is offerng a free $10 or $20 free e-gift card when you pre-order Madden NFL 11.  The amount of the gift card depends on the console for which the game is ordered. 

When you pre-order Madden NFL 11 for Wii, Playstation 3, and XBox 360, you’ll get a  $20 Walmart.com e-gift card.

When you pre-order Madden NFL 11 for PSP or Playstation 2, you’ll receive a $10 Walmart.com e-gift card.

If your child has saved up for the game, why not pre-order it for him so you can snag the extra gift card?  You could use the extra cash to buy necessities or go ahead and start your Christmas shopping.  You could even tell your child about the e-gift card and let them pick out something to give to a charity, since in essence it’s free money for something they’d already be buying. 

Keep in mind that these gift cards can only be used online.  Walmart.com has expanded their online offerings tremendously so if you or someone in your family is considering buying the game this is a great way to maximize your savings. 

Even when I’m spending “fun money” like Christmas money or birthday money from relatives, I’ve always tried to get as much out of it as I can get, so this type of offer is right up my alley.  That’s why I wanted to share it with you.

Run to your local Walmart!  We have been out of town for the last couple of weeks visiting in-laws, and had to buy some groceries when we got back since we’d ran out of pretty much everything before we left. 

Anyway, Michael and I stopped by electronics, and they have killer sales on electronics right now.  I scored an E-machine netbook for only $125, and they had 50″ plasma TVs for $400!

Each store is different and your store may have more.  The employees at the store where we shopped said that a lot of them actually bought the clearance so if you’re interested you really might want to go by there.

We were told they had $800 desk top computers marked down to $300.  As far as the netbooks go, if you have the extra cash it would be a great E-bay opportunity!

Don’t forget that Walmart is offering the Nintendo Wii console for $199 with a $50 gift card through December 11.  It’s while supplies last, so call before you rush to get one.  This is one in-store deal that can’t be beat!

Go clip out your $2/1 Snuggle coupon from yesterday’s Red Plum.  Then go to Walmart and get the 40-count box for free because they are $1.86.  I love high value coupons for great products we actually use!

Walmart.com has their  Thanksgiving One Day sale going on, and they have some awesome prices!  If you select site to store shipping you will save on your shipping costs.  Shop through a cash back site such as Shop at Home to get cash back on your purchase; never shop online without getting the best deal you can.  Finding the lowest price on an item is only half the battle of getting the BEST price you can.

I love Glade products; they are all throughout my home and even in my car!  When I can find them cheap, or make money on buying them I stock up as much as I can.  Couponing to Disney came up with a  scenario so we can stock up on Glade and make a little bit of money.  Thanks, Kristin!

Walmart has the Glade candle tins for $2.25.  If you’re lucky you’ll find a $1.50 coupon in the candle, bringing the price down to $.75!  You may have to search for one because I’ve noticed people taking the coupons out of them. Buy 3 and submit for the $5 SC Johnson Rebate ((you can get 3 rebates per household!))

I was able to find the Glade Fabric and Air refresher at my local Piggly Wiggly a few weeks ago for $.99 per bottle.  I’m not sure why, but we use it a lot so I stocked up.  That will be a $2 MM when I submit my rebate.  Also, look through your past receipts for all the cheap Glade Sense and Spray and Lasting Impressions you got at Walgreens.  I’d be willing to bet a lot of us can find $15 worth of rebates to send off to Glade.  I love “found” money like that.
